Tocker Grant Received for Summer Reading Programs

The Tocker Foundation Grant provides for second-annual summer reading program activities at Sundown Library.

We are grateful for another grant to be able to expand our collection for summer reading, as well as welcoming various performers and activities.

Although the state's pandemic restrictions make it difficult to finalize all of the plans, there is a weekly Texas Bluebonnet Book Club meeting on the schedule for Tuesdays. This is particularly for students at least 3rd grade and up. This selection of books is chosen by the state yearly and then students get to vote on their favorite. Stay tuned for more information.
