Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Library! Do you meet this criteria?

1. Be at least 13 years old 
2. Have a caregiver willing to sign a waiver prior to volunteer efforts
3. Willing to observe regular work rules and policies of the library. 

If so, please stop in to request an application from the Library Director!

Friends of the Library

Our Friends group is in the preliminary stages so please use the "Contact Us" tab to let us know you are interested in being a part!

Membership will be affordable with a teen bracket as well. 

Donations

The City of Sundown Library accepts cash donations for the purchase of books and other materials. Donors may suggest subjects or titles, but the gift purchases must meet the same criteria as other materials added to library collections. The donor may suggest the recipient agency, but the library retains the authority to make all decisions as to the selections and placement of materials purchased with gift funds.

All materials selected with gift funds must be approved by the Library Director. The library retains the authority to accept or reject cash gifts depending on any restrictions or special conditions imposed by the donor.
