I am glad you're here!
Moving to a nearby small town in 2004 with three small children (to add another one the following year), I felt as if I relocated to a dusty blackhole. Where was the life in this land?! I found it at my local library. It was the life-raft of rescue to assist me in finding friends for myself and my children, PLUS it offered free books to allow me adventure beyond my rural location.
In 2017, we moved to Sundown, the oilfield neighbor to that life-saving library. The desires through the pandemic was to offer a similar hub to our community to combat isolation and loneliness. Through multiple grant proposals, some gracious funders, and supportive community leaders, our city library has grown and expanded to become the lighthouse for our community, a beacon of connection.
We welcome you to stop in to our transformed library to find the lifeline for you and your loved ones!
